Scientific Name: Philodendron Birkin
Appearance: Displays glossy, bold foliage of hunter green leaves with white to yellowish stripes. The markings get substantially more pronounced as newer, larger leaves grow in.
Origin: Hybrid cultivar, but descends from philodendron genus which is native to rainforests of South America
Enjoys: Brightly lit spot with filtered light (avoid direct sun)
Care: Thrives with moderate watering. Keep soil slightly damp. And allow the top layer (~1 inch) of soil to partly dry out between waterings. Fertilize sparingly, about once every 2 months during the period of spring through summer.
